How to reach the Airport

The Fontanarossa train stop is connected to the airport by the AMTS shuttle.The shuttle runs every 10 minutes from 04,30 to 22.40. Tickets cost €1.
You can buy an integrated ticket (train + shuttle) at Trenitalia stations or on-line on the Trenitalia website by selecting “Catania Airport Fontarossa Bus” as your destination.
Please note:
The purchase of a Trenitalia ticket to “Catania Airport Fontarossa” does not include the shuttle service. In this case, you will have to reach the airport terminal on foot (about 600 metres away) following the pedestrian path.

Catania Central Station is connected to the airport by the AMTS “Alibus”, which departs every 25 minutes. Tickets cost €4.
You can buy a ticket on board or at the AMTS ticket offices.
